Director of Rehabilitation for SNF in Red Bluff

We are seeking a Rehab Director for a small Skilled Nursing Facility in Red Bluff, CA. Red Bluff is a magnificent small city in Central Valley California.

We are looking for an Registered Therapist (RPT or OTR) who has either had previous experience or is a new Grad who is willing to be trained into a management role.

Your responsibility extends to the supervision of resident OT's, PT's and SLP's as well as various Per Diem therapy staff.

The responsibility of this position includes the day to day therapeutic intervention of appropriate individuals in the rehab environment in accordance with the policies and procedures.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of records in regard to patient care for all patients on personal caseload. Responsible for the correct reporting of billing information of therapy in regard to all patients on personal caseload. Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning. Responsible for the reporting and interpretation of treatment results. Participate in development and presentation of in- services for the facility as requested. Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate. Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment in accordance with facility and Medicare policies and procedures. Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate. Assist when appropriate with any community education and public relations activities of the facility. Provide education to patient’s family as well as staff on the specific treatment plan as well as therapy goals for the patient. Responsible for the coordination and cooperation with other staff members in carrying out the treatment plan as established. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Masters preferred, will consider a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. - Current certification. - State license. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a team environment. - Maintain confidentiality.
