OT / OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
A Washington DC Hospital is looking for an occupational therapist to fulfill the needs of patients, families, and community by providing Occupational Therapy services in accordance with his/her licensure certification training and regulatory requirements. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments, assess patient needs, selects, administers, and interprets appropriate evaluation procedures. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patient s needs Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes initial assessment and determines appropriate rehab needs of assigned patients as evidence by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients as evidence by appropriate documentation. A DC license, BLS/CPR, and experience is required.
