Home Health -- Certified Occupational Therapist As
Seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a very flexible permanent position in home health care- you make your own schedule as far as when you start and end. In addition, we will entertain full-time or part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for this position. The pay and benefits for this Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position are very generous. OT Assistants make up to $37 per hour at this position depending on their experience. This Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Home care experience is not required, however the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant must have at least a year of experience in any setting (In other words must have had your license for at least one year). This Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS OF THE CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT IN HOME HEALTHCARE POSITION: --The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant must have at least a Associates degree IN Occupational Therapy Assisting to qualify for this job as well as a license to practice COTA in the state. --The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant must also either be a US citizen or have your green card- no exceptions. --No homecare experience required, however the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant must have at least one year of licensed experience in any setting with adults. ***We would like all interested Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant applicants to make themselves available for a phone interview within 48 hours of their application, so please be watching your email and phone messages.
