Asian American Home Care is currently seeking a Fee For Service Occupational Therapist in Oakland, CA! Responsibilities Conducts a thorough and precise assessment of the patient's condition, functional abilities, homebound status, and environmental factors. Makes appropriate recommendations for necessary equipment, home modifications, and referrals to OT facilities and other therapies as indicated. Provides care in accordance with physician orders, the patient's condition, accepted standards of practice, Agency policies, procedures, and processes. Identifies changes in the patient's condition, consults with physician and/or Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), and implements appropriate interventions. Utilizes appropriate infection control techniques. Instructs patient, family, and/or care giver in all aspects of patient care. Participates in care planning. Develops and supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) care plans.

Looking for OTRs to service San Francisco & East Bay area including: San Francisco and Oakland, Berkeley to Hayward, and Contra Costa County.

Qualifications

Free from Medicare Sanctions (required)

Current OT license (required)

Adequate means of transportation to facilitate timely visits (required)

Minimum of 12 months experience as an OT with Home Health experience (preferred)

Ability to speak Cantonese (highly preferred)
