Our client has a need for a full-time home care Occupational Therapist in the Norfolk, Virginia area.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client’s division, Home Care Services, is currently seeking Occupational Therapists. Assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and accurately provides Occupational Therapy (OT) evaluations, develops and implements OT treatment plans; provides education and information to patients and caregivers; participates in required discharge planning and completes all required documentation according to policy. The OT supervises and assumes responsibility for care provided by Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Therapists may be assigned other duties such as clinical instructor for student affiliations, performance improvement, and program development.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate of an approved program for Occupational Therapists. One-year experience is preferred. Must have current licensure or be licensure eligible as an OT in the state of Virginia.

SALARY: $58,323 depending on experience.
